Sightseeing

Chatsworth House stunning home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Historic house and gardens. There is plenty to do at Chatsworth, you can take a tour round the house, plenty of walks by the river, garden centre, farm shop and stunning gardens. You can definitely spend a day there. It’s a beautiful location to take a picnic by the river. I would advise booking tickets for house tours, gardens and parking which you can do online also if you look online you can book picnics too.

There are lots of little villages to visit and walks to do from Hathersage and surrounding areas it’s a lovely village with its own community. I recommend packing some walking shoes and suitable walking clothes. Equally it’s not far to drive to see different places.
