My Favourite Beaches

We make this our regular off-property hangout. The beach is rarely crowded, and the water here is crystal clear. Rocky on the shore, wade out 2 meters and you are playing wet-volleyball on a sand bottom. The picnic areas are well shaded and vast. Gorgeous.

This is a great place for families during the day Willow beach has privies and sandy beaches. In winter this is the place to access ice fishing.

This is a small intimate conservation area with beach and amazing views of the sunset. Normally open from 9 to 9 it is a hotspot for picnics. Can be overcrowded. Great for kiteboarding!!

Day trip to this provincial park for $20 entrance fee. Has a large sandy beach and hosts the Sibbald Family Museum (Eildon Hall). If you can do it outdoors, you can do it here.

Activities

NOTE High Ropes are currently closed. Bike park is open. Staying at the Lodge to ice fish? You have to check out the ROC. With tubing, skiing, skating, snowboarding, tobogganing and a beautiful chalet with great food and drink, you have to visit. During the summer, the ROC offers rock climbing, zip-lining, high ropes and low ropes. Or bring your bike and tryout our free bike park and north shore trails.
