Bourne is one of the towns along the Cape Cod Canal, sporting a seven mile bike path, ending at Scusset Beach. A great day trip! Continue on down the Cape to Provincetown, or take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket from Woods Hole, or just amble along beaches.

City advice

Getting around

The "T" is efficient and lots of fun!

Buy a monthly T pass at the Charlie Card store at Downtown Crossing. Many bike trails and bike lanes, as well as Blue Bikes to rent. We live near the Emerald Necklace with miles of bike and walking trails, Arboretum, parks, Jamaica Pond plus three more, Muddy River, Charles River, Arthur Fiedler Hatch Shell, and more.
Ways to save

Keep to the right in grocery stores. Smiling is appreciated

Waiting in line, deferring to elders, is always appreciated. Be careful walking alone after dark, although the T is fairly safe. Consider taking an Uber or cab home.
