Rail Trail
Go for a walk or ride on the rail trail, 22 miles of mostly flat walking or riding through some really beautiful country. Millerton, Amenia or Wassaic are great spots to park and start your tour.
Getting around
Metro North Trains
Metro North stations are in Dover (closest) 10-mile (middle point) or Wassaic (about a 15 minute walk to downtown Wassaic by dedicated trail) - best way to get to and from the city. Non-stop service available in the mornings and back around rush hour. Taxi's are available to pick you up from the stations with advance notice.
