Esther's Kitchen is an upscale local joint that we love! They serve elegant Italian comfort food and the most incredible sourdough bread. We always get the Chef's Spread of dips - they are all to die for!

Not your average New York slice, but delicious nonetheless. We like to grab a pie and head over to HUDL brewery where you can bring your own food. Our favorite is the Grandma Style Square Pie.

Well worth the wait, but the wait can be long. You could wait up to 2-3 hours to sit at this 10-person bar. Located inside of Palace Station, you would never think that this place serves up the best seafood in Las Vegas. Grab some drinks at the casino bar to sip on during the long wait. We love the Combo Pan Roast.

We usually aren't big cocktail people because most places make them too sweet, but Velveteen Rabbit does it right! You won't recognize half the ingredients on the menu, but if you have a taste for creative cocktails. make sure you don't skip this spot!

Let me start by saying that we love meat. Tacotarian is a vegetarian taco chain that somehow just does it right. I can't explain it. Just go there.

Hidden gem of a dive bar. Cheaper drinks, all local people, and the best part - pickled eggs.

One of our personal favorites! Valley of Fire contains more than 40,000 acres of Aztec sandstone and ancestral reminders of early inhabitants dating back 4,000 years. The rock formations are incredible and there are plenty of easy hikes to choose from.

Red Rock is definitely worth a visit no matter how you decide to explore - by foot, bike, climbing rope, or car. You can drive the scenic loop to take in 13 miles of fantastic views or hike any of the 64 marked trails. There are also plenty of trails suitable for mountain biking. Red rock is also a world-class climbing destination, for good reason.

Neighborhoods

Local vibe with great restaurants, bars, and shops. We love thrift shopping at Alt Rebel and Buffalo Exchange and walking through art galleries like Recycled Propaganda. Every first Friday of the month, the Arts District holds a monthly festival celebrating art, food, music, and culture.

The "Old Las Vegas" experience. It's grittier than the strip, but you'll find cheaper drinks (but still more expensive than your average), a zip line, street performers, and a constant party atmosphere all under a 1,500 foot long video screen/canopy that contains 12.5 million LED lights.
