A drive out but well worth the trip. Open lunch times only. Vegetarian food. Park at Elterwater and enjoy a lovely 45min-1 hr walk along the river to Skelwith Bridge. Have a tasty bitte, then a stroll back.

A visit to Keswick isn't complete without a trip down to the Lake. You can walk all the way round (approx 10miles) or hop on and off the boat launch. If you'd rather explore the water by yourself then why not hire a rowing boat.
