Neighborhoods

Spots of interest and with interesting aspects to explore...
A humble neighbourhood in Maputo, part of a historic urban planning and economic strategy by the colonial governement to supply the city with capcitated labour - labour immigrants quartier that hosted people from Arab East Africa (and islands) as well as people from to the Northern provices of Mozambique. The neighbourhood is famous for producing and hosting revolutionaries, poets, artists, sportspeople, economy-builders and other icons that many know and that few recognize. You may find here the Mafalala Museum and work facilitated by the Iverca organization and other international partners and donors.

Calm neighbourhood residential but with many little gems to find here and there, especially if you have an observant eye and curious mind. Restaurants, cultural centers, gardens and many embassies are face-value things you may find here, the rest I leave up to you to find out...
