Best beaches

This is one of the most popular beaches on St. Thomas, for good reason, and one of my personal favorites. The beach is a mile wide, so you can choose to relax near the bar, go to the right side to rent paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel with turtles, or venture to the left side to get away from the crowd.

Sapphire is a great beach and also has great amenities such as a coffee shop, two beach bars with lots of seating and lounges, a pizza restaurant right on the beach, and newly an awesome boutique. Parking and entrance is free and it’s always a fun place to hang out

Located on St. John, I find Trunk Bay to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Great snorkeling, a beach bar and food shack, chair and umbrella rentals as well as snorkel equipment. There are also showers and bathrooms so you can clean up before heading back into Cruz Bay for drinks or food. Highly recommended!

Lindquist is another US Virgin Islands national park beach. You have to pay to get in but there are bathrooms, showers, picnic tables and a covered picnic shed. There’s no food or drinks so be sure to pack your own.
