From Killybegs drive on Route 263 and past Fintra beach and Largy point. Take the coast road after Blue Haven restaurant and Muckross on the left. Drive down to the end point and park. When the tide is out you can walk on the rocks around the headland to see the caves and the layers of rock formation. Enjoy. (Take a picnic).

The fishing trawlers are the largest in Ireland and they are colourful sight to see. There is a small craft marina for pleasure boats and angling boats along the shore road. Fintra is a beautiful blue flag beach about 4 km approx on the route to Sliabh Liag cliffs (highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe. There are several restaurants and open spaces to enjoy the fresh sea air.
Killybegs is famous for its large fishing boats and beautiful harbour.
