This is actually one of many breweries in the neighbourhood. It's a great one from our place because you can get to it just by walking down the railpath (no cars). It's worth checking out others too. You could easily hit a bunch of them in one afternoon: Hendersons, Halo Brewery, Junction Craft Brewing, Indie Ale House, Rainhard Brewing Co., People's Pint Brewing Company, Bandit Brewery, Blood Brothers Brewing, Shack Lands Brewing Co.

Parks & Nature

This is a lovely multi-use path (no motorized vehicles). There is an entrance just across the street from our house. It is a great place to go for a walk, jog, or to use as a shortcut through part of our city.

A gem of Toronto - This park is big enough to contain a pond with beautiful swans and ducks, a cafe, a small outdoor zoo, a large off leash dog area, specialized gardens, tons of great picnic spots, multiple playgrounds, tennis courts, a swimming pool and more! There are main paved roads (excellent for cycling or running) but our favourite parts are the small dirt pathways that take you into beautiful 'forested' areas. It's always the perfect fix for a mini dose of nature in the city.

Sightseeing

This is a full day trip, but well worth it. It really feels like you are in an entirely different city - From cute "cottagey" houses and lovely beaches to quiet waterfront trails and a ferris wheel. You need to take a short ferry ride to get there, which is also part of the fun.

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in Toronto, it is full of culture and flare - Cafes, restaurants and lots of great shops. (The best ones are the fabulous food shops and unique second hand stores.) China town and Queen St. are steps away and also worth exploring if you have the time.
