Sightseeing

Can be reached by plane from Redcliffe Airport (must check/book in advance.) Day trips or stay on Island a few nights. The best snorkeling I have done anywhere in the world because of the large range of corals and wildlife in surrounding waters. Great diving sites too but with middle ear issues, I am not allowed to dive.

What to pack

snorkel

snorkeling at Queens Beach. Turn left at front of property and left again and continue 300m to the waterfront. There is a hidden rocky area where fish hang out. Its exposed on low tide and is not far from the shore
