The peak that inspired the song “America the Beautiful”, Pikes Peak is unique in that you can drive to the top! It is worth a trip for the amazing views, as well as the interesting visitor center at the summit. There are multiple ways to get to the summit, including driving, taking the Cog Railway, or hiking via the Barr Trail. Please note that driving or riding the Cog both cost money and reservations are recommended.
