Parks & Nature

It's a steep 10 minute walk from the bottom to the top (and about 20 minutes from the flat to the top) but the views are wonderful. From the top you can see Princes St, Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh Castle, the Scot Monument and the Palace of Holyrood House. There is a picture of one of the monuments at the top which is in our bathroom! There is also a monument to Lord Nelson at the top which has a large ball at the top of it, at 1pm each day the ball rises and then falls to show the sailors out at the port what the time is.
