Casual Italian restaurant. They also own a more upscale place nearby (called "Supper") but I prefer Lil Frankies. Close to Rockwood Music Hall for live music.

Book tickets and also get there 15 minutes early because then you'll get a better table. You order dinner right away, eat, and enjoy a 45-minute show. Good barbecue. It's a bit more of an expensive outing, but fun. (The Blue Note is similar and also famous but I've heard that the food and atmosphere are not good anymore).

Arts & Culture

The map wouldn't let me tag the park that this neighborhood is named after (Sunset Park). Go to Sunset Park and check out the view of Manhattan! But yes, the pool is great too, during the FREE lap swim times (7-8am and 7-8pm Mon-Fri). You have to register: https://www.nycgovparks.org/reg/lap-swim/2066
