Sightseeing

During the day - drive or hike up to the top of Mt John. The observatory is not open but there is a cafe at the top plus great 360 degree views. Star Gazing/Observatory Tour - good tour however pricy. Make sure you were warm clothing as it can be quite windy on top of Mt John at night.
