Star Gazing/Observatory Tour - good tour however pricy. Make sure you were warm clothing as it can be quite windy on top of Mt John at night.

Tekapo Springs is a great facility that offers hot pools, day spa, skating, cafe, and other activities. Also they offer a soak and star gazing tour at night.
