Our favorite place to eat is just a few minutes bike ride away, just down the road, through the park, over the biking/walking suspension bridge, and you're into downtown.

Coffee shop ambiance like nowhere else, nestled in a courtyard at the American Club. Outside its stained glass walls, we recommend you sip your latte on a bench swing in the beautiful garden and listen to the sounds the picturesque fountain.

Beautiful overview of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Hike the area any time of year, but don't miss the sea of color in fall.

Hike the ladder trails along Lake Michigan sand dunes, or if it's hot out, go for a swim. The beaches are beautiful and seem to stretch forever. We're pretty far north here, so unless there's a warm current or you're pretty hardy, an inland lake such as Mauthe Lake, Random Lake, or Elkhart Lake is a cozier choice.

Entertainment & Activities

The Breaker Bay indoor water park is one attraction among many along the Sheboygan River harbor front. When you're done with the water slides, park at the tip of S Pier Dr, and walk out the lighthouse, along the shoreline path, and up the river boardwalk. The north side of the river likewise has many fine shops and restaurants.

We're not big into racing, but the SuperTrucks that do jumps as they race were tons of fun to watch.

Sightseeing

The world's tallest symbol of freedom. You can stand at the base and look 400 feet up at a flag that would cover almost half a football field. Park benches by the nearby pond make it a nice place to relax and enjoy.

Arts & Culture

Exhibits change a few times each year. Some are inspiring, others a bit out there. It's worth far more than the free price of admission.
