The best breakfast burrito around in my opinion. I always add bacon to mine and the green salsa is amazing.

Parks & Nature

Every morning at 11am there is free (but please make a donation if possible) yoga on the bluff overlooking the ocean. It's a huge turnout usually so get there a little early to get a good spot. I've provided 2 yoga mats in the house for you to use.

If you walk due South (yes our beach is south facing- weird I know) for 0.7 miles starting at the alley catty-corner from the front house driveway you'll have your toes in the sand in no-time! There is also a bike/walking path that goes from Downtown Long Beach's Shoreline Village, down to Naples Island. Very pretty, but beware that you'll most likely be heading into the wind on your way back after about noon.

Sightseeing

I love this place!!!!! It's like going back in time. I like to imagine I'm on the Titanic (which was actually smaller than this) before the ice burg of course. They have night time music and different events. They even have a haunted tour of the ship. Their website is: www.queenmary.com

Shoreline Village reminds me of a quaint fishing town in some ways. There's a board walk that surrounds a marina. You can access this area by car, or down the bike path. There are restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, stores, a merry-go-round, and killer views of the Queen Mary.

This is a cool little area with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, and more beach. At the end of 2nd St is a bridge that goes over to Naples island, and before that you make a right on Bayshore, there's a cute little beach and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards down at the end right before you get to Ocean Blvd.

This several blocks of downtown Long Beach, has bloomed into a really cool arts district called "The East Village Arts District". There are all kinds of shops, galleries, restaurants, bars, etc. Also near here are the main bus and train stations.

This area is known as "Retro Row". All along this street are resale shops, barber shops, restaurants, kitchy-themed stores, etc. This is where Lola's restaurant, Portfolio's Coffee house, and the Art (nicely restored) Theater among others are located.

Shopping

This place is based on the old iconic "Pike" that was here way back in the day. Now it is an outdoor shopping center including outlets, a movie theater, a Ferris Wheel, restaurants, bars, and a comedy club. It is situated across from the Long Beach Convention Center, Shoreline Village, and is at the heart of the Grand Prix race track.

I heard a rumor that this building used to be the house of some 20's celebrity. Small, but interesting and they have a restaurant that overlooks the water from the bluff.
