Portlands original street cart turned restaraunt, started and run by a very lovely woman who has perfected this Kao Man Gai sauce. The menu is simple- 6 meals to choose from and some random sides like fried chicken skin or chicken liver. It’s all really fresh, homemade and will make you feel back to normal if you eat out too much :) Plus they have coconut soft serve icecream. It’s a quick bite. Vietnamese.

What can I say? This place has no website and I can’t find the phone number. Their hours are definitely 5 - 10 pm but not every day. You have to take cab there and can’t go with more than 4 people per table, no less than 2 and definitely no children. It’s totally a wild Japanese food experience and you should plan to get drunk and get your mind completely blown. It’s a real toss but if it’s closed or has vanished (the owner likes it this way), there are plenty of beautiful spots right there in this little nook of Portland, most especially the Vintage Cocktail Lounge.
