South Foreland Light House- Spectacular views of the Channel. Run by the National Trust, there are great treasure hunts for the kids at £1 a go and kites and quoits free to use. Mrs Knott's retro tea-room in the former lighthouse keeper's cottage is great for a cream tea. It is possible to drive here, but its a lovely walk from Dover which is about 2½ miles away following the Saxon Shore way cliff path via the White Cliffs Visitor Centre or from the village of St Margaret's following footpaths through South Foreland valley.
