This is the perfect on the beach pub. It's friendly and the place all locals spend the majority of their summers so I might just see you there myself! It's family friendly so a glass of wine whilst the children play on the beach is a must or if your younger and out on the pull, its the place!
Don't leave Teignmouth without taking the time to sit on the beach outside the Ship one summer evening and watch the sun set. It's well worth it.

Torquay has a lovely harbour worth checking out the expensive boats and the beach. There is lots going on here and very much set up for the holiday maker. For the younger ones it's the place to go if you like clubbing and want some nightlife. I would recommend Park Lane on the harbour. If you fancy some nice restaurants there are the normal chains like pizza express, las Iguanas, Prezzo but lots of locally run ones like No7 (the best fish ever) or Rockfish.

Exeter has undergone a face lift over recent years and now has lots of outside eating and socialising areas. It's got a good shopping area. Worth catching the train up as only cost approx £4 per adult. To arrive in the centre of town take the train to Exeter Central Station. It's quite a walk from Exeter St David's.
