Blue Springs is great for viewing wild life and possibly manatee. There is a historic museum and boat rides. Great for picnics.

This is the beach we recommend and is the closest. The Historic mainstreet on the beach with restaurants, shops, pubs, ice cream, boardwalk, park, history, beach front.... Parking on the beach. The Daytona resort area/Oceanwalk is the best area for families with small children because there are no cars in that area. Park in the garage or on the beach near it and walk over.
