Complimenting Mont Tremblant’s abundant nature and rich forests, the restaurant is housed in a traditional timber home. The chic wine bar is a perfect place to unwind and connect with friends after a day on the slopes or the golf course. The signature dishes include six-week aged, bone-in filet mignon steak, filet mignon tartare, organic milk-fed veal chop, Chilean sea bass roasted in vodka and a gourmet spin on Quebec comfort food — lobster poutine.

Taking up residence in one of the huts in the pedestrian village, the traditional wood-filled restaurant looks straight out of the French Alps. Diners come for the fondue, but go for the raclette, a unique offering. A metal contraption holds a half a wheel of raclette cheese right next to a heater. Gooey, delicious gobs of cheese slide off the edge of the cut wheel, which you scrape off to put on top of prosciutto, boiled potatoes, salami and bread.

There are two ways to get to Le Refuge Du Trappeur. The first is by skiing black diamonds to it during the day, the other is snowshoeing at night. This charming little cabin in the woods, halfway down Versant Soliel, is a great place to warm yourself up mid-day with soup, hot chocolate and sandwiches. In the evening, sign up for the the Snowshoe Tour and hike your way down to enjoy a cheese fondue.
