Sightseeing
Wonderful place to take the kiddos for a day at the pool. There is a lap pool and a natural pool which can be pretty refreshing. I used to take my kids fishing for crawfish here when they were little. We fed the ducks and the deer, but I believe you are not allowed to feed the wildlife anymore. There is a small passenger train that runs for the little ones which is pretty fun for them. Every Thursday during the summer months, there is a band that plays here and it is free.

This is a beautiful drive from New Braunfels to Sattler. There are many camping areas along the river. Be aware of purple fence posts, as all property along the river is privately owned so do not trespass. If you'd like to enjoy the river, there are several points of entry at different establishments along the way. Share the road as many cyclists train here.
