This is Ireland's largest shopping mall and it is a ten minute drive from our home. We recommend it for the vast array of shops and the food outlets. There are a number of really good American-style diners such as TGI Fridays, Captain Americas and Eddie Rockets.

We highly recommend Slevin's! As well as serving top quality stouts, beers and lagers, it has an excellent range of meals, available until around nine o'clock at night.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel and Spa is a wonderful addition to the town. Located just outside the village, (a short walk) it has an extremely good restaurant, several bars and a nightclub. Well worth visiting.

This is one of the oldest distilleries in the world. Not only can you see how Irish whiskey used to be made, you can see a modern still in action. Moreover, there is a wonderful cafe, and we heartily recommend the all-day breakfast with home fries. Yummy!
