Considered some of the best gelato you can get in Sydney. Has long queues on weekends in the evenings but fine during other times.

My favourite is the chicken pie but any of the pies, sausage rolls or vegetarian pasties are good here. The cakes are also delicious.

Sightseeing

The old Darlinghurst Goal was converted to an Art School. I don't think you can sightsee the buildings but you can walk through the grounds and ponder. There is a coffee shop which has slightly more student friendly prices and you can sit in the shaded courtyard. Enter from Burton St.

Parks & Nature

Only 10 minutes' walk from the studio, this is a gorgeous open space. If you enjoy a view of the harbour and the clinking of yacht masts it's a must. Walk to the end of New Beach Rd for a view of the Opera House and New Year's Eve fireworks. There are two cafes in the park and an exercise area. Mornings and late afternoons lots of opportunities to meet the neighbourhood dogs on their walk.

A great way to get to North Bondi/Bondi Beach. The bus stop on Oxford Street is only 5-10 minutes walk from the studio depending on your pace.
