In South America I fell in love with yucca fries and plantains - Gilberth's Latin fusion cuisine has these delicacies and more. I love their brussels sprouts, ceviche, & sangria. Also great for lunch.

Fabulous French cheese. And delicious sandwiches with cured meats and cheese. Great place to stop before any picnic. (Suggested picnic spot is along Terry A Francois Blvd - with views of the Bay).

Only open for lunch - this place has "real deal" lasagna. The proprietors are Italian and proudly make all their own pastas and sauces the old-school way. The "verdure" with pesto is my favorite!

This Russian Banya is about a 6 or 7 minute drive (or taxi ride) away. Not for the faint of heart, it has fantastic steam baths and saunas. If you go, drop by the cafe for a bowl of borscht.
