The University has remade the green spaces in the center of campus to resemble the rock and forest habitat of the famous Vedauwoo recreation area. The Welcome Center at 22nd St and Grand Ave is brand new and impressive.

Make sure you walk across the Footbridge nearby the Depot. It begins at 1st Street and Garfield and goes over the railroad tracks. It's exhilarating when the trains pass right underneath your feet!
