Best spot in Whitstable for an ice cream! Fantastic ice cream with a selection of cones and toppings. My personal favourite is the salted caramel with a chocolate and nut dipped cone. Also does a selection of other tasty treats, hot drinks and useful bits for the beach.

If you fancy a day trip, Margate with its hipster 'Old Town' full of interesting places to browse, Turner contemporary museum, Dreamland theme park and sandy beaches make for a great day out. For lunch I would recommend GBK pizza on the seafront. Other sandy beaches to visit along the coast are Broadstairs and the smaller / quieter Josh Bay.
