Sightseeing
Visit Colorado’s only 5-star hotel – the grounds are absolutely beautiful! The Broadmoor is about 20-25 minutes away from our Cottage. Go south on I-25 then follow mapquest to the Broadmoor. From the front east entrance to the hotel, turn right and circle around to the west side of the hotel. Park in the church parking lot to the west of the Broadmoor then walk across the street and into the hotel grounds. There is a lake in the middle of the hotel property, around which you can stroll, enjoy the geese, stop for beverages and just enjoy. You can also walk through some of the various hotel lobbies and sitting rooms to see the beautiful collection of western art. Our family loves to go here.

The beautiful Air Force Academy is just a few miles north from our property. Tour the Academy grounds and chapel for a really special perspective about the training of some of our country's finest. Both the buildings and the surrounding area of the AFA are very interesting to see.

If you only have time to do one thing in Colorado Springs, this is it. The Garden of the Gods is a beautiful park with mammoth red rocks jutting upward. An easily accessible sidewalk runs from the main parking lot through the grounds, making this a sight everybody can enjoy. If you don't have time for a stroll, just driving through the grounds is still a treat. Rain or shine, snowing or blowing, this park always a worthwhile visit.
