Drinks & Nightlife

It's my local bar. They serve craft beer and wine (no liquor) and have a full menu. The crowd is friendly and laid back, the bartenders are the same, and the music is good.

The setting right on the Hudson River is stunning, and that's about all the place is good for. Food and service are bad. I'd go for a couple drinks on the early side then head out from there.

Really cute wine bar. The staff is always really nice but it's probably best if you can choose the wine without having to ask advice.

Beautifully manicured park set in the hills Northern Manhattan is known for. It's a quiet escape high above the city, providing panoramic views of NJ's palisades on one side and the Bronx on the other

Personally, I think it's over-hyped, but it's a popular, buzzy Dominican place. I'd go more for the vibe than the food, but people love it.

Great Italian food finally arrived to our neighborhood! The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable, and food is consistently good. It's a step up from most places around here, but still casual.

Arts & Culture

An amazing medieval monastery that was reconstructed in the 30s, commissioned by the Rockefellers. The Met Museum has a medieval collection here. The architecture and grounds make it worth a visit.
