Hugo's is one of Fayetteville's iconic bar/restaurants on the Fayetteville Square--think Cheers, but with lots of people. Best burgers and fries in town. Get there early at lunch or dinner to avoid long lines.

Rick's is simply the best and most interesting bakery in Fayetteville and the area. Good sandwiches and excellent coffee bar, too. Pastries to die for.

There are many fine restaurants in Fayetteville, but it's hard to beat Penguin Ed's for consistently good food at a reasonable price. It's on Mission and Crossover, a mile from the Fayetteville Estate. Ed's is our Go-To restaurant when we're hungry and don't want to cook.

The 21st Amendment is one of many excellent nightclubs in the Dickson Street entertainment district. Once on Dickson you can choose whatever suits your fancy. They are all within a few blocks.

Want to see 100 big cats up close, really close. Stop by this wildlife refuge and take the 1-hour tour. You won't see this anywhere else, not even in Africa. It's on the way to Eureka Springs on Hwy 23.

Eureka Springs is a unique Victorian-era mountain town with 200 interesting shops and it's only a beautiful hour's drive from Fayetteville. It's a must-do day trip if you have the time, even if you don't particularly like to shop.
UA is one of America's great universities and at any give time, it has lots to see and do. For sure, park near campus in one of the high-rise parking lots, then take a walking tour of campus (you can't see much on a drive-through). The Senior Walk is unique to universities. Old Main is UA's most iconic buildings.
