Food Scene

The food is tasty, the gin selection is great, the staff are attentive and though the food can be slightly pricier than other places, it still ranks as my top place for a meal over looking the sea.

Drinks & Nightlife

This bar restaurant comes to life in the evenings, with locals and tourists alike. The live music is fantstic and there is a large heated outdoor area. It's less than a ten minute walk along the coast too.

Essentials

There is a well stocked convenience store at the nearby Maxol Garage. There is also the main supermarket Asda in the town, or a huge Tesco's a hort drive away.

Parks & Nature

Bangor Marina has a great variety of cafes, ice-cream parlours and occassionally bikers and free jumpers. You can follow the beautiful coastal path all the way to Holywood and get the train back if you are feeling adventurous. I would class it as an easy route for regular walkers, or moderate for those less experienced due to some slight inclines.
