Food Scene

Great coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch (awesome sandwiches). I always walk down here for a coffee first thing in the morning. And only 3 minutes from our place! Located on the ground floor of the fairmont. You can take a shortcut through the fairmont or walk around it.

Some say this is the best steak restaurant in whistler. I prefer Hy's, which is in the main village. But Side Cut is about 4 minutes from our place and is really good (expensive though...but it is located in the Four Seasons so perhaps expected). The bar has amazing cocktails.

Great sushi and a really fun place. Get a sake margarita! Just walk down to the upper village and take the valley trail to the main village. Approx. 15 minute walk from our place.

Hy's is a great steakhouse. But you must get the "cheese toast" to start. Amazing!

Great sushi and only a 5 minute walk from our place! A little more low key than Sushi Village (which is in the main village) but fun too. We go here a lot.

Parks & Nature

Walk right out our door and down to Lost Lake (and its surrounding trails). The area is full of beautiful walking, hiking, running, biking and cross-country skiing trails. We spend a lot of time exploring this area. It is truly magical.
