Greenwood Lake is one of New York State's largest recreational lakes. In the summer people enjoy the beachfront and boat rentals. Over the last few years its becoming more or more popular with great restaurants. The Helm is open Thur-Sun and is a gastropub which is extremely popular (read you may have to wait a while for a table). But when you just want to sit outside and enjoy the views of the lake with food/drink - you can head over to Emerald Pointe - they have a big outdoor space and outside bar/gazebo. Try the veggie pizza!
