It just opened at the end of June. We haven't been yet but are planning to go soon. It sounds like a restaurant/market with lots of activities for kids.

We love the zoo. It is great for kids. There is a really good dinosaur exhibit there with full sized dinosaurs and some of them move and make noise.

Parks & Nature

This is a beautiful park within Calgary. It is very big. There are lots of bike/walking trails. There are several different areas to park and picnic or go for walks/bikes. One of our favourite spots the Bow Valley Ranch Visitors' Centre. It is a settlers farm that has been turned into a tourist attractions. There several old building here including that old homestead that has been turned into a very nice restaurant although expensive . There is also a coffee shop (Annie's) which also serves good icecream. Bebo Grove is another very pretty spot to go for a walk or picnic. It is down by a small river with many large trees it feels like you're out in the forest and not in the city.

This park is awesome especially if you like dinosaurs. It is in the badlands so the landscape is completely different and it is often warmer. There are real dinosaur fossils exhibits and lots of hiking you can do on your own or tours you can book. It is about a 2.5 hour drive.
