Food Scene

Salads and pizzas are always on-point. My husband and I love to get some affordable and yummy dinner here before going to see a movie at The Terrace.

Nice atmosphere. It is within the Avondale district which has some cute bars, a coffee shop and a great vintage consignment store. You can take a cab here at night and bop around from place to place.

This is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. It is always delicious, the service is on-point and the beverage program is great. Food is fresh and the owner/Exec Chef and current Chef deCuisine are both James Beard winners.

So close! Coffee is good and the pastries there will do the trick. I believe they also have free WiFi.

Drinks & Nightlife

They have a lot of craft beers on tap and an indoor/outdoor music space which has some pretty good talent. Sometimes there is a cover charge, sometimes not. It's great that it is within walking distance so we can drink and walk home.

Parks & Nature

They have a big dog park here and also a water park for kids. Admission to the park is $2 per person and it is well worth it!

This is also a 5 minute walk away! Within this shopping plaza is nail salon, a Dollar General and a CVS. This Harris Teeter also carries quite a bit of local produce which is always nice!

Earth Fare has more organic options and healthier fare. I like shopping here more than the standard grocery.
