The Billi Pub is one of the few old style pubs around. Soak up the history in the front bar, but make sure you stop for lunch or dinner on the verandah or out the back. It is good pub food. The pub hosts special events and music days.

Local produce fresh from the producer, just a short walk away. Every Tuesday the local Farmers Market happens on the football field, adjacent to the Yum Yum Tree Cafe and the New Brighton General Store. A must visit if you are here, even if only to view the produce and the people and enjoy the locals vibe. But what better way to enhance your stay than using fresh local produce in your cooking. 8am to 11am every Tuesday.

A go to place for locals with great coffee and food which prides itself on its friendly staff who will happily chat about the local area as time permits, as it does get busy! Eat inside if the weather is not perfect, or if it is, aim for an outside table or at the window so you can enjoy the views and sights across The Terrace and the park to the river. Cameron and his team offer a well thought out menu and infuse it with personality.

This eatery specialises in burgers and good hearty food. Much more than fish! Many people do takeaway into the Park or nearby places but there is plenty of seating for you to enjoy on the footpath. Great family option and open at nights. Great outdoor heaters if the evening is a bit chilly also. Jack and hi team open for lunch and dinner.

The Country Club is the closest nighttime entertainment venue to us. It is walkable, but the Club sits atop a steep hill, so the Courtesy Bus is recommended. Just call the Club and they will pick you up and drop you home later. The Club is also home to an 18 hole golf course, bowling greens and the home to many community clubs and activities. There is also a great restaurant on site, Seasalt.
