Trophy lakes is my favorite spot (i prefer to go there compared to the beach because no waves for my toddler). beach access is only $5, and you can also waterski, do cable park, disk golf and paddle board! there is always a cool crowd hanging out over there :) they also have the aqua park for kids 6 and up.

This place is full of history, and I encourage you to learn about it while there. They also have a petting zoo, poneys, donkeys, peacocks and in the spring this place is amazing with the azyleas blooming! looks like a painting from Monet! Look also for the butterfly garden and the little houses for kids to play.

To get the best view on this landmark, go all the way to the end of Folly Beach, take a little walk and soon you will the lighthouse appear above the sand dunes. enjoy the sunset there, bring bug spray!

Go thru the old village of Mount Pleasant, all the way to the Pitt Street bridge, for an amazing view. this bridge used to connect to Sullivans Island. I love this old town vibe over there.

They have turtle watch programs during breeding season, Botany Bay for a walk on the beach with trees in the ocean (check the tide and if they are open), and some cool markets like King's Farm & Market or the Marsh Hen Mill. They also have the Serpenterium, cool to do with kids.
