German themed bar that serves beer in the famous glass BOOTS! Waitresses are dressed in themed outfits. LIVE MUSIC! Communal seating, great for groups and couples! Good service. I have been here a few times and each time has been a blast. Peppy atmosphere and live music every time we go. Great for group events because they take reservations. I suggest requesting a table away from the band, it can get a little too loud for conversations (a few liters of beer and some shot-skis usually help). Food highlights have been: the french fries, pretzels, carrot cake.

While you are in New York, you definitely shouldn’t miss seeing the largest train stations in the world (not to mention one of the most beautiful!). Head on over to Grand Central Station (it’s really the terminal that you are looking for) for a little exploration, and see why over twenty million people come to visit this station every year. We have put together this Grand Central Terminal guide with a mini-tour to help familiarize you with this grand space. - See more at: http://www.freetoursbyfoot.com/grand-central-station-guide/#sthash.90lZOS1M.dpuf

Arts & Culture

Since its inception in 1929, the Museum of Modern Art has continually redefined the idea of the museum in contemporary Western culture. Originally conceived by its founders as a place for Modern art to come and go (because what makes up modernism is constantly changing), MoMA, as it is commonly known, established a permanent collection in 1952 and has become the home for some of the greatest works of avant-garde painting, sculpture, film and multi-media art in the world.
