Drinks & Nightlife

Salsa-Dancers: On Thursdays and Sundays you will find 4 dancefloors with Salsa LA Style, Salsa Cuban-Style, Bachata and Kizomba. This place is like a home to me :) Entrance is cheap (3 Euro if you come only to the party (past 9pm)). Non-Salsa-Dancers: Go there anyway and learn one of the dances. Lesson and party: 6 Euro. Visit soda-berlin.de for time schedule and type of lessons offered.

Entertainment & Activities

On Sundays Mauerpark is kind of like a small festival with live music everywhere. There is also a fleamarket and lots of small places with food. If you want to try singing yourself there is charaoke at 3pm in the "bear pit" - beware, on sunny days there could be 2000 people watching you...

Sightseeing

Berlins oldest water-tower, built 1877 and in use until 1952. On top of a small hill behind it you can find a second, smaller tower and a small park. Adjacent to the water-tower, where there is a playground today, there used to be a machine hall. It was the first concentration camp in Nazi Germany in the first half of 1933. It was demolished in 1935.
