Chefs brought in from Mexico make this place as authentic as you can get without crossing the border. I recommend trying the Tlaquepaque sauce, a house favourite!

Entertainment & Activities

Ocean Beach has a dog beach, fire pits, volleyball nets, a pier and is a wonderful place to see the Pacific. The dog beach has an inlet that makes the water warm enough to enjoy without a wetsuit.

This zoo is the best one I've seen. The animals seem happy and the space is covered in a wide variety of flora. Definitely recommended for those looking for a more 'touristy' experience.

This nursery is overflowing with plants and has enough animals to be considered a petting zoo: goats, chickens, turtles, a donkey, a huge rabbit etc. Definitely recommended for kids!
