Parks & Nature

My favoriate day hike. It's a moderatly hard hike, 6 miles in/out, that goes to a WATERFALL. It's close to the house and is on the same creek that's at the house (Brown's Creek). Mostly south facing hiking though pine forest. Trail map is at the house. I recommend packing a lunch to eat at the waterfall. The hardcore hikers continue on to summit Mt. Princeton (14,260'). Let me know if you do that!

HOT SPRINGS. The local's favoriate. Not as developed as Mt. Princeton hot springs/resort, it's a quiet soak with several pools of different tempuratures. I recommend a night soak here. Good for singles/couples, not so much for kids (no kids allowed at night).
