He was the first man to build & launch the rocket. He was born in Worcester Massachusetts Oct. 5, 1882-->Aug. 10, 1945. My mothers girlfriend was Mr. & Mr.s Goddard's housekeeper. My mother would go and help her girlfriend clean their home.
