The Clifton, an historic tavern in St John's Wood where King Edward VII used to take his mistress Lillie Langtry for secret trysts, has been transformed it into a contemporary pub. The atmosphere is casual, the open, light space (which has room to seat 65) is filled with cosy Chesterfields, slouchy armchairs and there's room outside for 25.
