If it’s full, write your name on the white board to your left as you go in the door. Good for breakfast & lunch too. Very laid back type of place. Excellent mussels! They have a bakery behind the bottle store as well.

This is an excellent restaurant located at the harbour; it is the most expensive in Kalk Bay, but worth it. Fabulous view of the sea, and good service. Wine is quite pricey so maybe take your own and pay corkage. Make a reservation and specify that you’d like a table closest to the sea.

The menu was refreshingly short, although providing ample choice, including some specials of the day. We came back a second time and only wished we’d been on all five nights. I’ve no doubt the meat dishes, pasta and pizzas are great too.

Fish Hoek beach is approximately 1.5km long and offers a flat surface of white sands perfect for family outings, sun tanning, beach games, and walks. The bay is protected from strong currents, making it fantastic for swimming, body boarding, kayaking, surfing, and sailing.
One side of the beach is dog friendly.
