The royal Forest of Dean is a must, plenty going on there, walking, cycling trails and bike hire at pedal a bike away, horse riding, canoeing, rock climbing, GoApe, scale trees and test your climbing skill with there tricky tree puzzles, great fun for all ages. Puzzle wood and the sculpture trail if you fancy something more sedate.
