Places to eat

Despite having your own beautiful kitchen to cook in, you may want to eat out. Locally there isn't a huge selection, but just 15 - 30 minutes away there are loads of restaurants offering pretty much every kind of food you can think of. Below are just a few suggestions.

Opposite the Russian Embassy in Maharajgunj, this is a great cafe with a lovely sunny garden area. Great for breakfast, brunch and lunch and with a fantastic bakery attached for a taste of real homemade cakes. An absolute firm favourite of ours.

Cheap and cheerful and serves a multitude of dishes with everything from mo mos, daal bhat, and tandoori chicken and naan bread, to pizza and burgers. Great value for money.

Just a five minute walk from the apartment. To get there, turn left at the bottom of the basketball court and head along the road until you see it on the right hand side. Can highly recommend the mo mos and chatamari!
