Let's Eat!!!

Just some of my favorite restaurants in Louisville. Enjoy!!
A cozy breakfast spot around the corner, everything is delicious and that’s no exaggeration! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Whether you’re feeling fancy or hung over, there’s something on the menu for you. Occasionally they have themed menus and events so be on the look out!

This is a Louisville favorite and conveniently located a block from the house. Great for weekend brunch then stroll along Frankfort Ave and get your shopping in. What makes this place extra special, you can order a shot of century old Bourbon that will soon be forever gone.

So delicious!! Yummy cocktails, thin crust pizzas, pasta, and appetizers. Their menu changes frequently, so don't be surprised if you return and find your favorite dish is no longer available. Instead, try something new. I promise it will be tasty as well.

AAAAAAAAAAh-mayyyyyyy-zzinggggg! Healthy fare that is absolutely and deliciously divine. Everything is worth ordering. The food is best shared, so it's ideal for 2 people who like to eat A LOT or 4 people who want to share bites.

Yes! Yes! All the yes!! Latin American fare/comfort food. Danger zone for those on a diet (what is that anyway??). Everything on the menu is yummmmmmm times 3. The coffee drinks are high octane, rich and delicious. Order the pancakes for the table to share as a dessert. Just a few bites and you'll be hooked. I recommended walking to and from there; you'll definitely want to walk off those pancakes.

It's a bit of a trek out of the way (15 - 20 minute drive), but so worth it if you love AUTHENTIC Vietnamese fare. Hands down my favorite. I grew up in SF and live in LA where I had access to a multitude of authentic Vietnamese restaurants. Vietnam Kitchen stands up against some of my favorites in both cities. Call for hours as they are closed 1 day during the week and a few hours during the day (and it changes)

This place has mastered preparing beef at every scale in every form. Whether you wanna pop in for a gourmet burger during Le Femme Drag Brunch or indulge in a Tomahawk Rib Eye, they can satisfy your hunger. Fun fact: if you go on your birthday they’ll deduct your age in dollars from your meal on the bill.

A cornucopia of local food vendors and artisanal retailers. Personal favorites are: FOKO Mexican fusion (the breakfast burrito is superb) La Maison aux Crêpes (can’t go wrong with either the sweet or savory) Boba Fête Milk Tea + Boba Bar. Closed Mondays.

It gets loud in here, but the food is worth it. Great pizzas and pastas. The roasted cauliflower and the beets with ricotta are great starters. They also have a lovely Caesar salad with a bit of a twist.

Proof On Main is at the 21C Hotel which houses some great artwork. Grab a cocktail and maybe a quick bite at the Proof bar then saunter around the hotel and check out the art. It's quite fascinating!

Lovely upscale flea market in Paristown. Local vendors show off carefully curated collections of vintage goods and other antiques. Guaranteed to see a few things you’ve never seen before. My personal faves at FdF: Chunk and ReNu for unique home decor, art and fabulous furniture. Closed Wednesdays.
