Restaurants in Manchester

My favourite restaurants in the city! Head to China town or Upper Brook street for Chinese and Rusholme for Curry. There are also plenty of lovely place to eat near the city centre and Deansgate (can be slightly more expensive).
I used to eat here all the time as a student - I love the DIM SUM! Slighty out of the city centre. You can take a bus to Oxford Road (University) and walk from there.

Head to RUSHOLME for some amazing curry's on Curry Mile. Sangam, Lal Qila and Tabak are some of my favourites. Prices are reasonable and some of the curry houses you can take your own booze, which keeps the cost down.

Perfect for Thai street food dishes, and reasonable prices. Take a selfie in the Tuk-Tuk before you go in!

Upmarket dining, cocktails and regular live music in an historic building with original features. A little more expensive than some of the classic pizzeria's like Don Giovanni, but worth it if you are having a nice meal out or on a date!

Things to do in Manchester

Manchester is a vibrant and growing city. Head to the Northern quarter for a retro and Indie feel. Deansgate has your comedy clubs and wine bars. Head to Oxford Road and Fallowfield for student-ville! The trams from Shaw and Crompton to Manchester are frequent and run until around 11.30pm.
Great for science geeks and taking kids. Plenty of steam powered specimens and interactive exhibits. Worth a good day out.

If you are a sports fan, don't miss Man United's 'theatre of dreams'. Remember that match days get busy and Derby days (City v United) can be chaos in the city centre! Book your tickets in advance if you want to see a match, but you can also book stadium tours.
