This park has a really nice beach area to the left of the concession stand. The dog beach is really nice too but you have a short hike to get to it. There's some really nice hiking trails there also. On the causeway leading to it you can put your jet skis in.

You take a ferry over to the island from Honeymoon island in Dunedin. It leaves in the morning and you can catch a ferry back when you want to return. This trip brings you to an absolutely gorgeous unspoiled beach with shells galore. There's some snacks and drinks available on the island at the snack bar but I'd bring a cooler with your own stuff too and don't forget the sunscreen. It's 21 miles South of here.

This trip brings you to an absolutely gorgeous unspoiled beach with shells galore.
